Legal Terms & Governance Framework

Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 2026 • Official Revision 3.0 • Continuous Enforcement

1. System Access, Acceptance & Scope of Agreement

By accessing, browsing, interacting with, or deploying any utility within the Kanto Empire portal (kantoempire.com) and its associated subdomain applications (including Kanto PDF, Kanto Terminal, Tools Hub, Wazari Exam Platform, Kanto 2048, and Kanto Sudoku), you unequivocally agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these protocols in their entirety, you must discontinue access to the ecosystem immediately.

These terms govern your direct engagement with our client-side software architecture, offline caching mechanisms, and public documentation. We prioritize algorithmic transparency and decentralized user autonomy above all commercial considerations.

2. Acceptable Use Policy & Client Computational Sovereignty

Kanto Empire utilities are designed for ethical personal computing, academic preparation, software engineering workflows, and cognitive logic practice. You agree to use these tools only for lawful purposes in accordance with local, state, national, and international laws.

You agree not to engage in any automated scraping, denial-of-service simulations, malicious code injection, or automated exploitation directed against Kanto Empire infrastructure. Because our utilities execute client-side on your local hardware, you bear sole responsibility for the files, binary inputs, data formats, and commands you process through the client interfaces.

3. MIT Open Architecture License Terms & Code Governance

The underlying layout frameworks, client-side utility architecture, interface components, and open-source implementations provided by Kanto Empire are made available in accordance with the permissive terms of the MIT License.

Permission is hereby granted, free of charge, to any person obtaining a copy of this software and associated documentation files, to deal in the Software without restriction, including without limitation the rights to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the Software, subject to the inclusion of the copyright notice and this permission notice in all substantial portions of the Software.

4. Intellectual Property, Trademarks & Third-Party Assets

The Kanto Empire name, logomarks, typography, custom design system, and editorial compositions are the intellectual property of Kanto Empire. External tools, open-source libraries, and third-party brand designations referenced in the catalog remain the intellectual property and trademarks of their respective original creators.

Catalog entries linking to external resources do not imply corporate affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship unless explicitly designated. We maintain strict neutrality in cataloging tools based on utility and design merit.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & "AS IS" Operational Guarantee

All applications, algorithmic engines, document converters, interactive logic puzzles, and documentation housed within the Kanto Empire ecosystem are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Kanto Empire makes no warranty that the services will meet your exact requirements, operate uninterrupted, or be completely error-free across every legacy browser or hardware configuration. Users acknowledge that client-side file transformations (such as WebAssembly-powered PDF compression) execute in browser memory and are subject to local device hardware constraints.

6. Limitation of Liability & Local Storage Risk

In no event shall Kanto Empire, its maintainers, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of local data, business interruption, or hardware malfunction) arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the tools.

Because all system data is persisted locally in browser LocalStorage without remote cloud backups, users bear responsibility for maintaining independent backups of their working data before clearing browser caches or resetting local application partitions.
